<image:caption>Education Spiral Physiotherapy acknowledges that when a patient presents to a physio or allied health practitioner they are often in pain and wish to know how best to treat/manage their condition so they can return to their normal lifestyle Spiral Physiotherapy acknowledges that in vulnerable states the language we use matters Spiral Physiotherapy acknowledges that the use of medical jargon is often confusing and often unhelpful. This is why our physiotherapists utilise plain language when guiding our patients on their rehabilitation journey Evidence-Based Practices We are committed to implementing treatments based in current scientific evidence. Our physios regularly engage in up to date scientific research studies to bring our patients the most effective treatments We are committed to implementing clinical expertise. Our physios are experienced in working with a multitude of different patient populations We are committed to implementing practices that respect a patient’s autonomy. Our physios recognise that one size does not fit all and, we are committed to providing our patients with individualised treatment programmes We are committed to ongoing personal development. Our physios engage in regular personal development courses to stay up to date with the latest research and treatment techniques</image:caption>

<image:caption>Daniel Gilham (Director and Physiotherapist) Dan graduated from La Trobe University with a double degree in Applied Sciences and Master in Physiotherapy Practice. His physio pursuits were catalysed by an ACL injury (incurred during competitive basketball) and a wish to aid patients with their own rehabilitative goals. This lead to Dan’s transition from work as a qualified electrician to a career in Physiotherapy. Dan strives to approach physiotherapy in a very patient-centred manner. Nothing pleases him more than seeing his patients achieve their goals. Dan has worked closely with basketballers, footballers, swimmers and powerlifters. Consequently, he has strong understandings in biomechanics, load management and related programming. Dan takes immense satisfaction from implementing evidence-based practices in the treatment of acute/persistent pain, muscular strains, ligamentous sprains, tendon/fasciopathies and joint pathologies.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Telehealth</image:title>
<image:caption>A 2016 systematic review determined that Real-time telerehabilitation appears to be as effective as conventional methods of healthcare delivery for the improvement of physical function and pain in a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Accordingly, Telehealth Physiotherapy Consultations appear to be a viable way of implementing effective rehabilitation for those with bone, muscle, tendon, ligamentous, joint-related and pain-related conditions (Cottrell et al., 2016).</image:caption>
